On behalf of our Agriculture Initiatives team at Strathcona County, I would like to invite any of your members that live on acreages, hobby farms, or have recreational property to attend our Green Acreages workshop on January 21st at The Pointe Agricultural Event Centre (53462 Range Rd 225, Sherwood Park) from 5-8pm. The event is free to attend we just ask that people register beforehand so that we can order the right amount of food.

Green Acreages Workshop

The Green Acreages program offers support for acreage, hobby farm and recreational property owners to implement stewardship practices that conserve and protect the natural assets on their properties. This also includes funding for environmental projects like planting native species or enhancing riparian areas. You can find more information about the Green Acreages program through this video.
