About the Hall

DNCL Hall is a bright, modern space fully renovated approximately 10 years ago. It features plenty of natural lighting, an accessible washroom, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

With a capacity for up to 150 guests, it's ideal for events of all kinds. The hall includes an AHS-certified commercial kitchen, a bar, and a concession window to enhance your event.

Please note: Cooking equipment, dishes, utensils, glassware, and coffee cups are not provided.

High Season (HS): May 15th – September 30th

Low Season (LS): October 1st – May 14th

  • Weekend Rentals (Friday 12pm – Sunday 12pm) HS - $1200.00

    Long Weekend Rentals (HS) - $1300.00

    Daily Weekend Rate (HS) $450.00 (8am - 2am)

    Hourly Weekend Rate (HS) $50.00

    Hourly Weekday Rate (HS) $30.00

  • A refundable damage deposit of $600 is required for all weekend rentals.

    For all other bookings, a damage deposit is also required. The amount will vary depending on the nature and cost of the rental, and will be confirmed at the time of booking.

    Need help with cleanup? Cleaners can be arranged by request for $50 per hour, per cleaner. Please mention this when booking if you’d like to include this service.

    Prefer not to lift a finger? We offer full table and chair setup and takedown service for a flat rate of $150. If you choose this service, please note that 1–2 hours of post-event cleaning (sweeping and mopping floors) will be added to your booking to ensure the hall is returned to its original condition.

  • If you plan to serve alcohol at your event:

    • You must obtain a valid liquor license from Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC).

    • You are also required to purchase Party Alcohol Liability (PAL) insurance, listing DNCL Hall & Strathcona County as an additional insured party.

    Both the liquor license and PAL insurance documentation must be submitted in advance of your event.

  • Dry weekend camping is included with your hall rental at no additional cost. Campers are welcome to park and set up in the main parking lot—no reservations required.

    Both tents and RVs are allowed, but tents must not be set up on the ball diamonds. Generators are permitted for those who need them.

    Camping permits are available on the bulletin board inside the hall. Before leaving, please return completed permits to the bar area.

    Please note: check-in and check-out for campers must follow the booking times stated in your rental contract.

  • Cancellation terms may vary. Please review your rental contract for full details regarding deadlines, refunds, and rescheduling policies.
